He participated in Civil War re-enactments with the 30th Georgia. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a former member of the Southside Riders. Doug was a jokester and liked blue grass music. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Orr. He is survived by his wife, Liz Orr; mother: Edna Grace Orr of Griffin; daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Kevin Burton of Griffin; grandsons: Lance Corporal A.J. Joiner and Ryan Joiner; two sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, August 7 at Neal Baptist Church in Concord. Rev.
